HYPE Projects - What's New?
Get an overview about new HYPE Projects features and improvements and updates that have been deployed in the past months.
Dependencies: Please note that some new features can only be used if you install the respective HYPE Enterprise Platform release.

Login Page
Platform admins can now configure button labels and explanations for the login page of paired systems (KC login page). Open Workbench > Interface > Design Themes > Design Theme -> Login Page / Selfregistration-Page and go to Keycloak Login Page Settings.
- Check box to disable the Login Page Placeholder that can be configured under Workbench > Interface >Miscellaneous. If no text has been configured there, the default is used: "Welcome to <SYSTEM NAME>".
- Heading of the login form. If not set, default is Log In.
- Label of the SSO button. If not set, default is Employee Access.
- Label of the Local Login button. If not set, default is Log In.
- HTML Explanation for the SSO button. Can be empty.
- HTML Explanation for the Local Login button. Can be empty.

Fixed Issues
Dependencies: The following fixes are only available with HYPE Enterprise release 10.3 and higher.
Using bookmarks to HYPE Enterprise - In a paired system, users might still have bookmarks containing a login URL from a previous unpaired system, so they would reach the local login of the HYPE Enterprise platform. Now you can use previous bookmarks to access the paired system.
User Synchronization - User synchronization between the leading user database HYPE Enterprise platform and HYPE Projects has been improved in terms of stability and consistency (for example when handling deleted or deactivated users).
Dependencies: The following fixes are only available with HYPE Enterprise release 10.1 and higher.
Project Creator Rights - When a campaign manager, innovation manager or any other user creates a project from within HYPE Ideation, she will get the access rights of a project creator. That means, there can be "Project Creators" who do not hold the role of the HYPE Projects portfolio manager. Requirements: After the update to HYPE Enterprise platform 10.1 the pairing has to be renewed. Under Settings > HYPE System Integration click Disconnect and then Connect again.
Know Issues
Integration with BI - Please notice that the BI API delivers all projects, including confidential projects. Currently there is no option to filter out confidential projects.
External Users - External users (self-registered users) cannot access projects.
